Homemade Summer Plum Jam

Here are the pictures as promised, of my  homemade jam making exploits.

The plums were freshly plucked from the tree and were deliciously juicy.

I had a lovely afternoon in my kitchen making this jam.  The boys think it is delicious; I think it is a wee bit sugary and not set quite right.  I think I will have to invest in a jam thermometer for next time…because there will be a next time. 

It is too satisfying not to!
