So, here goes…my list of projects for

a year of projects July 2014 – June 2015.

This will be my first year, of setting myself some crafty goals, infact my first year of blogging, so I’m hoping I will figure this all out as I go along!

 

The idea is a weekly update of my progress or possible lack of it, depending on how I go…. please feel free to leave me comments to encourage me or send me a friendly push along if need be!

 

I’m thinking this list may well grow, but I am trying to keep it small and achievable as I’m a virgin blogger.

So here is my list…

 

  • ripple afghan

  • scrapghan (technically already started…but I would like to work alot more on this and maybe even finish it!)

  • tea cosy or 2

  • summer scarf

  • hook holder

  • a crochet wall hanging

  • charity SIBOL blankets (Sunshine International Blankets Of Love) charity for the elderly… have a look at SIBOL

  • headbands for Bowdazzling (charity for young girls undergoing chemotherapy)

  • x10 yarnbombs in my local community

 This was my very first yarn bomb!

 

  • poppies

  • purse

  • hot water bottle cover

  • fabric buttons

  • bunting

  • tree house decoration

this is one of the first blankets I ever made… and I’d love to do a

tutorial… (but I feel a little daunted by the process!)

 

So there it is… what do you think? A little short? It is I think … but I have a feeling that this list may well grow, and I like that it has growing room, because I’m pretty sure that this list will be as long as the yardage in my stash before too long. xx

I like the list, it’s got a great mix of projects which helps keep the interest going for the year and the group is pretty good and encouraging and advice and giving pushes if pushes are asked for so you’ll enjoy it. I also really like that your list has room to grow if need be, you’ll find over the year that the list changes and gets added to and items taken away that’s all part of the process.

  4. This is a great list! I’m curious to see what headband pattern you use as I love headbands. I also love how you hook as most of us knit.

  6. Great list and I’m so glad we have another crocheter among us. Many of us do both and I love crochet projects. You sound very creative too. I can’t wait to see what you post next week! Welcome!
